Our schedule is designed to maximize your experience:

- Before the Retreat: Together we meet online for a planning session to get to know you better as a couple, creating a personal itinerary and retreat program

- During the Retreat: Each day brings a variety of activities, including workshops and sessions on communication, intimacy, sensual touch, and more, with moments of free time, relaxation, and play.

- Post-Retreat: a one-hour online session to apply the lessons learned during the retreat, create a follow-up plan, and one month of home play assignments to keep the momentum going.

In the past, our couples decided to go out for sunset horseback riding and hiking at the Natural Reserve park along the beach.

1. Fly into San Jose, Costa Rica

Book your international flight to San Jose International Airport SJO.

Choose your route to the retreat:

2) Domestic flight

Fly with Sansa Airlines to Limon, followed by a one hour taxi or shuttle to Punta Uva.

Take a shared or private shuttle from San Jose to the Caribbean coast.

The journey takes approximately four and a half to five hours through rainforest and mountain landscapes.

Getting around

Everything you need for your stay, including supermarkets, fruit stands, cafes, and restaurants, is within walking distance.

The easiest way to get around is by bicycle.

Beach cruiser rentals are available nearby, typically around eight to ten dollars per day, and distances are short and easy to navigate. (approx $8-10 per day) Flat roads and a bicycle culture here make it very easy and fun to explore.

You can also use Uber or local tuk tuk taxis, which are inexpensive and convenient for moving between beaches in the area. (Approx $4-7)

The pinnacle of our week, however, was our wedding ceremony. Fern and Maxim planned and officiated the most beautiful, meaningful, and ceremonial experience we could have dreamed of. Words truly fall short here. They held sacred space with such grace and presence that it felt like time itself paused to witness our union. Their music added another layer of magic to the moment, touching our hearts with the kind of authenticity that can’t be staged or rehearsed. It was intimate, raw, and completely perfect.
